Museo Diocesano de Jaca y Castillo de Loarre.Diocesan Museum of Jaca and Castle of Loarre Otoño 2012
The Diocesan Museum of Jaca was opened in 1970 as a museum of medieval religious art. Its dual objective was to serve as a witness to the faith of the people of the diocese of Jaca and to become a focus of culture in Upper Aragon.
Its creation was the result of an ongoing series of discoveries of medieval wall paintings in churches in the diocese that began in the 1960s and continued into the following decade. These Romanesque and Gothic works were the core foundation of the museum exhibition and remain, in terms of their interest and uniqueness, among its main attractions.
In 2003 the work carried out under the MAster Plan of the Cathedral forced the closure of the museum and les to the development of a new museum project which, while respecting its foundation, aims to improve and adpat it to the needs of the twenty-first century. The reopening took place on the 9th February 2010,during a Santiago de Compostela Jubilee Year.

Mayo y Octubre 2012
The Würth
Museum of La Rioja www.museowurth.es was inaugurated on September 7th, 2007 in the
Industrial Park, El Sequero. Its location is precisely one of the
principal traits of its identity. Since the '90s, the Würth
Group has founded exhibition spaces in some of its European
headquarters with one clear objective: fuse culture and enterprise in
the same space.
Würth
S.A. is a multinational retailer of material for professionals of
different disciplines that operates on an international level. Its
proprietor, the Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth, developed a
successful commercial strategy that has made Würth a business of
international reference in different sectors. In parallel, since the
'60s, Reinhold Würth began the creation of a private collection of
Contemporary Art that today is considered to be one of the most
important in Europe, and makes up one of the facets of the internal
development of the business.
The Würth Museum of La Rioja is the only exhibition space that
the company has in Spain and it doesn't just act as a setting for
showing the depths of the Würth collection, it is an open space where
there is room for much more than the visual arts. www.kunst.wuerth.com
Excursión a Lerma, Octubre 2012
