UN GRAN ACONTECIMIENTO CULTURAL

Las actividades de Patrimonio para jóvenes se desarrollan en España, pero la reapertura del Rijksmuseum en Amsterdam merece nuestra atención. Y no sólo por ser uno de los grandes museos de Europa sino también porque  el nuevo diseño de sus espacios ha corrido a cargo de los arquitectos españoles Cruz y Ortiz.

The activities of Heritage for the Youth are underway in Spain, but the reopening of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam is worth our attention. Not only for being one of the great museums of Europe but also because the Spanish architects Cruz and Ortiz have been in charge of the new design of its spaces. Cuenca. Semana Santa 2013

Llegan desde Cuenca las primeras fotos. Ante la Catedral vemos  ahora a todo el grupo de patrimonio para jóvenes que participa en este viaje.También nos mandan fotos de los dulces que cocinaron las familias anfitrionas para recibirles. Debajo, Molly y Marianne ante uno de los pasos procesionales.

El Sábado Santo, 30 de Marzo luce el sol por fin en Cuenca. Por la mañana paseo por el casco antiguo y por la tarde, visita a la Cuenca subterranea,los túneles de la guerra civil, desde donde nos envían esta foto con cascos y todo, que les da un aire de aventureros impresionante.También han visitado el Museo de Arte Abstracto;http://www.march.es/arte/cuenca/

Han participado en los Oficios en la Catedral el Jueves Santo y el Viernes Santo. El Domingo de Resurrección, la Santa Misa en las Blancas. Un marco muy especial para una Semana Santa.

These last two days in Cuenca have been absolutely incredible! I wish there were words or even photos to be able to describe the sentation of awe that it transmits.Everything from the people,the history,tradition,nature.The charm of this city is a comination of everything.Especially at night you see the city from below hanging off the  rocks that are illuminated in different shades of yellow and pinks you feel you are in a fairy tale.I cannot even imagine how much incredible it will become in holy week.I think we are so lucky to be able to be admitted into this city and experience the authentic traditions.

Un premio a la observación y la capacidad crítica

En Patrimonio para jóvenes, no solo organizamos viajes, implicamos a familias, llamamos una y mil veces  a guías y directores de museos... todo eso lo hacemos sí, sí...Pero también nos gusta que la gente acuda a charlas sobre arte y a ser posible, que no lo haga de forma pasiva sino  que pregunte, participe, observe..y la observación, la calma para pararse a mirar, aprender a contemplar, relacionar unas cosas con otras es algo que valoramos muchísimo. Esta capacidad de observar y relacionar la tuvo Angela Chaverri , alumna de primero de bachiller, que fue capaz de explicarnos cómo la estética de la publicidad actual, a veces, no es tan nueva y rompedora, sino que bebe en las fuentes del arte, y en el caso que ella explicó, del Barroco. Para no hacer publicidad nosotros, no vamos a citar el ejemplo concreto. Nos quedamos con  la idea de que la chica es lista , no le dió vergüenza intervenir y además lo hizo muy bien. Se llevó de premio una invitación para visitar el Museo Diocesano de Jaca (www.diocesisdejaca.org) con sus padres. Hoy ha vuelto de allí encantada, tanto, que se le ha olvidado hacer lo que le pedimos; una foto con la gente del museo. Pero bueno, aquí queda un  testimonio gráfico.Saludos Angela y ójala te incorpores a más actividades de "Patrimonio para jóvenes".

In Heritage For Young People /Patrimonio Para Jóvenes we don't just organize trips, involve families, call museum directors a thousand and one times... yes, yes, we do all this...But we also like people to go to talks about art, and if possible, that they don't do so passively but rather that they ask questions, participate, observe... and the observation, the calmness to stop and look, learn how to contemplate, relate things with others is something that we value very much.  This ability to observe and relate was demonstrated by Angel Chaverri, a high school student, who was able to explain to us how the esthetics of current advertisement sometimes aren't so new and ground-breaking, but that they drink from the fountains of art, and in the case that she explained, Baroque. To avoid advertising ourselves, we won't cite specific example. We'll remain with the idea that she's a clever girl, that she wasn't embarrassed to participate and what's more did so very well. As a prize she got an invitation to visit the Jaca Diocesan Museum(www.diocesisdejaca.org) with her parents. Today she came back delighted, so much that she forgot to do what we had asked of her; take a picture with the museum people. But well, here is a graphic testimony. ¡Ponemos una sonrisa a España!

Con este sencillo video queremos rendir un homenaje a todas aquellas personas que trabajan cuidando y difundiendo nuestro patrimonio, a quienes lo disfrutan y a quienes todavía no lo han hecho. Gracias a todos los que nos habéis recibido a lo largo de estos meses. Nuestro saludo también a todos los chicos que trabajan en banjomusic.es que no tienen nada que ver con esto, pero dimos con ellos por casualidad y hemos descubierto a unos artistas. Gracias a Jorge Carretier, ingeniero informático, a Laura Lacosta alumna de audiovisuales, a Asunción Santamaría que siempre aporta su coche para las excursiones y lo mismo a José Carlos y Natalia, a Jesús. Gracias a Aurora Ramos, animadora número uno. Ojala podamos seguir viajando y descubriendo la belleza juntos. Gracias
